This update will improve how event guests are processed from the integrations manager to Raisers Edge.

We will be implementing the following updates:

For Raisers Edge accounts using Event Participant Options:

• A constituent record for guest attendees will only be created when a Name + Email Address (not matching the Lead), or Address (not matching the Lead) is provided on the booking. 
  • Otherwise, a Participant will be created called 'Guest of <Lead>'.
  • If a name is provided for this attendee (but not enough details for a Constituent), the name will be added as a Summary Note on the Participant. A relationship will also be created on the Lead with the guest name and 'Guest for Event: <Event Name>'. 
  • Any event options for this attendee will be set using the mapped Participant Options on the Participant. 

For Raisers Edge accounts using Event Custom Fields:

• The process remains the same as Constituents are required for the Custom Fields to work.
